Lion Lounge Press

Lion Lounge Press is an independent publishing company, based in Oxford and London, that specialises in creative writing.

LLP was established by L. Terner, co-founder and formerly senior editor of Popplepress.com, when the cold winter chills had not yet left Oxford in peace in the virgin days of 2009. Since then, he has been joined by an efficient team of editors and fellow publishers, all with a joint background in publishing and creative writing.

We aim to give everyone an equal opportunity to be published, given that creative zeal and literary brilliance is evidenced. Both previously undiscovered authors and well-established ones are welcome at LLP, and sometimes — as is the case with its flagship title, The Lounge Companion — they are even published side-by-side.

Short creative fiction and non-fiction, both prose and poetry, make up the core of Lion Lounge Press, and in years to come, we hope to bring many collections of such material to the eagerly reading eyes of the world.
